What do you do with your sexuality if you are single?
God has made us sexual beings for a reason. It's not just for our own gratification…Our sexuality is to point us to the ultimate fulfillment which is found in Christ and the church. For those of us single or celibate it can feel like our sexuality is just sitting there, kind of like an appendage. But if let our sexual yearnings and our sexual longings point us to the ultimate marriage between Jesus and his church, we are fulfilling the purpose of our sexuality. This is liberating to know. You can fulfill your sexuality without necessarily satisfying your sexual desires.
