How Does the Church Practice Its Mission?

What is the practice of Christian mission? In every service of Christian worship, God invites believers into his story in which he is forming them into the likeness of Christ. God gathers his people around the Word and Table and commissions them to bear his image in the world. In this video James K.A. Smith from Calvin College joins Tod Bolsinger to discuss the mission of God in the life of the church.

Timothy Massaro has written for Core Christianity, Modern Reformation, and other publications. He oversees the Christian Education ministry at Resurrection PCA in San Diego and serves as a hospice chaplain. He has an affinity for all things J.R.R. Tolkien (except the movies) and has interests in the intersections of philosophy and theology.
