Episode 172 Show Notes
Can We Be Sure the Resurrection of Jesus Really Happened?
From the Show
Is it good for Christians to seek to do good in the world?
The Gospel comes first. From the Gospel comes faith, from faith comes love, from love come good works. And so, Galatians 6:10 reminds us, “So then as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are the household of faith.” So absolutely, we should seek to do good every time we have the opportunity, especially fellow believers. We do good to everyone, primarily by showing up for our various callings throughout the week; showing up in marriage, showing up with our family, showing up for our friends, our neighborhood, our jobs, our nation, our world. We got to show up, we got to love and serve our neighbors, especially those neighbors who are mistreated, or abused. — Michael Horton
