Submission isn't about ontological inferiority. Ontology has to do with your being or nature, and so when I say ontological inferiority, I'm highlighting that the call here for wives to submit to their husbands isn't issued because women are by nature less than men. Both men and women are made in the image of God...they're both joint heirs of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
